In the final lecture of the session, you will learn the stumbling blocks of intercultural cooperation such as ethnocentrism, verbal and nonverbal communication, and different values. When comparing the cultures, there are a few frameworks you may use. Lecturer Salo-Lee elaborates Hofstede´s framework in the education context. Many other frameworks can be applied for us to have a better understanding of different cultural dynamics.

• strong/weak uncertainty avoidance

• masculinity/femininity

• long/short term orientation
