Lecturer is explaining the teachership shift in last decades quoting Luukkainen (2004). This change is a challenge for a principal: how to promote the renewal of teachership? We will hear students suggestions as answers to this question.

The reflective reports for all lectures will be submitted in one file after whole session.

Assignment after the lecture:

Reflective report. Write your learning experiences into your personal reflective report. The reflective report for session 3 will be submitted after lecture 8.
Workbook assignment: Write an essay (3-4 pages) of your own country where you discuss about the current situation in the school educational training. What is the developmental trend? What is the policy and how the practice is conducted? Try to find as recent information as possible. Remember also to reflect your own view and the ideas from previous lectures. Make a developmental plan where you explain what possible steps needs to be taken when improving the quality of school leadership. Submit your essay HERE.
