Hello, how are you?
I hope you had a nice summer. It feels like ages since we last had a class!
It's so nice to get started again, even though everything is a bit different now because of the pandemic.

On the very first lesson we had a conversation based on ""getting-to-know-each-other" conversation questions because there were a couple of new students in the group. But that was not the only reason. The main reason for this topic was that it is a nice and easy topic after a long break.

As for the material for the course, we decided to first do some revision on the topics in the book "Catching up" and after that start with a new book, in a few weeks. On the next class we are going to talk about food and brush up food vocabulary!

Here are a couple of useful and fun web pages:
- What can you say when you eat at other people's houses? A quiz: Speaking-exercise-english-conversation-about-food/
- How to talk about food. (Small talk: Video and quiz) Easy English conversation about food

See you next Friday!
Marja

Autumn colours... Where did the summer go?
