II Network meeting in Sweden 23.10. - 25.10.2013

The next network meeting will take place at Malmö in Sweden. The conference group wishes you all welcome!

We need to know if you are planning to attend the conference before Thursday 2 of October, and please give Anette a note if you have any special needs considering food.

Practical information

The conference will be held att Falsterbo kursgård. Accomodation include all meals and there is also a small pool and sauna at the place.

The bus from Malmö central station takes 30 minutes. At Malmö central station you drop in at “Skånetrafiken” were it´s possible to buy a plastic card to load with money for the bus trips to and from Falsterbo kursgård. You can also use credit cards on the bus. The bus (nr 100) is located across the bridge (towards town) beside the Airport buses and opposite the Hotel Savoy.

Take bus nr 100 and tell the driver you should get off first station after Höllviken Centrum. When you get off cross the street and you will see the conference place in front of you.

For those who are planning to arrive on the 22/10 there are many nice hotels in Malmö. Please feel free to book any suitable hotel in our beautiful city. This night is not included in the conference venue, rooms are only booked for you all at Falsterbo kursgård the nights between 23-25/10.

PROGRAMME OF WEDNESDAY, 23 OCTOBER

10:30	Practical information, project update Sif Einarsdóttir
11:30-12:30	An introduction of the practical training within the CGC programs in Malmö, Stockholm and Jyväskylä. Jukka Lerkkanen, Jyväskylä Ola Tostrup, Malmö Marie Andersson, Stockholm
	LUNCH
13.30 – 16.30	Workshops three groups. Coaching, (Leif Andergren) Solution Focused Dialogues, (Björn Lindahl) and Motivating Interviews (Ola Tostrup) are methods all included in the CGC education in Malmö. Here the VALA participants will get an introduction to and a possibility to practice the three different methods that are taught as a part of the Malmö student’s practical training. You will be divided in three groups and take part in all three short workshops during the afternoon

PROGRAMME OF THURSDAY, 24 OCTOBER

9.00	How do we implement the connection between theory and practice in CCG education? Anders Lovén and Jukka Lerkkanen introduces thoughts on the topic and initiates group discussions.
	Coffee
10.30	Meeting with Career Guidance Counsellors that supervise students in practice Julija Radeson-Lindeberg and our student, Jessica Tarland.
12.00	LUNCH
13.00	Continuing group discussions on the morning topic including coffee
15.30	Follow-up and a discussion of the report from development project 1 and the next steps in our VALA collaboration. Discussion concerning the exchanges (staff, student) inside the VALA project
17.30	Social activity
19.30	Dinner
