Remember to enter edit mode by clicking the ”Show actions” button on the top of the page. If the button on the top of the page reads ”Hide actions”, you are already in edit mode.

The ”Form” tool is used to create exercises, tasks and tests. Familiarize yourself with the various exercise types available for the form tool.

Creating a form:

Click on the “Other tool” button when editing a page.
Click on the “Form” option.
Give your form a title and set its participation settings from the options on the bottom of the page. Remember to click on the “Save” or “Save as draft” button after you are finished.
You will be redirected back to the module’s host page. You can now click on the ”Modify” button to add tasks and text to the form.

Various exercise elements can be incorporated into a form by using form fields.

1. Select the form you want to edit and click on the “Modify” button.
2. Click on the text field labelled “Form (encoded as text)”. A selection of tools will open under the text field. These tools are known as form fields.
