You can use the assignment module to

create timed assignments.
add attachments to an assignment.

Creating an assignment module:

1. Click on the “Other tool” button when editing a page.
2. Click on the “Assignment” option.
3. Give your assignment a title and a description.
4. At the end of the page, you can

Allow comments
Add attachments,such as image or text files.
Set a target date or deadline for the assignment.

5. Remember to click “Save” when you are finished.

6.. If you want the student to return their task to the assignment module, you can create a submission folder to the module.

Give your submission folder a name and a description. You can also modify the comment settings for the submission folder and add a deadline for the submissions.
Remember to click “Save” when you are finished.

6. After saving your assignment, you will be redirected to the module’s host page.
