The paradigm shift calls for a new kind of educational leadership. Professor
Alava deals with the problems of the traditional views on educational leadership presenting the broad-scoped pedagogic leadership as the answer to the challenges of the quantum paradigm. The reasons behind the need of the leadership change and the characteristics of the broad-scoped pedagogic leadership are described. Professor Alava presents several modules about how educational leaders carry out pedagogic leadership at school, regional and state levels.
