Happy Valentine's Day! - Or Friendship day, as we call it in Finland. When I talked to the students I learnt that many of them had special plans for this day, either with family or good friends. On the other hand, some of us don't celebrate this day at all. I hope you had a great day, however you spent it.

On this class we practised passive structures some more with a guessing game.
Then we did exercise 6 on page 186. This was a role play where a journalist interviewed a person who took part in an event. There where two interviews, and the students took it in turns to be a journalist and the interviewee.
We also did the pronunciation exercise on page 187 and practised pronouncing some onomatopoeic words. Onomatopoeic- what a word! :)
We ended the class by playing a board game. What a nice way of getting to know each other!

Next week we'll start dealing with a new chapter. Chapter 19 is about the environment.
Take a look at pages 188-189 and familiarize yourself with the vocabulary.

Onomatopoeia words:
https://images.app.goo.gl/MN9grUBEh5vWk7d4A
