Competency Framework and Assessment tools for Career Professionalshttps://peda.net/id/d4e13638bed2024-03-23T14:51:02+02:00<p><a href="https://ktl.jyu.fi/en/staff/kettunen-jaana" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">The Finnish Institute for Educational Research</a> of the University of Jyväskylä has prepared <a href="https://doi.org/10.17011/ktl-rt/6" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">a proposal for a National Competency Framework for Career Professionals </a>and a set of <a href="http://urn.fi/URN:ISBN:978-951-39-9928-5" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">Assessment Forms</a> that are based on and complement the framework. <br/>

To support the use of the competency framework, in addition to the <a href="http://urn.fi/URN:ISBN:978-951-39-9928-5" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">paper versions</a>, the following <b>three online tools/resources</b> have been published:</p>

</b></h3>
<p><a href="https://peda.net/careerprof/online-tool-for-competence-assessment">This online tool</a> enables guidance professionals, teams, multidisciplinary networks, and organisations to assess their guidance competence against the Competency Framework for Career Professionals (Vuorinen, Kasurinen, Kettunen et al., 2023, 2024) and to set targeted competency goals.<em> <span>The information provided in the evaluation form will not be stored.</span><br/>

<p>The tool is founded on Assessment forms 1 and 2 (the Competency Assessment Table and Competency Map), which are based on and complement the competency descriptions for guidance professionals. <span>Publication with assessment forms can be found <a href="http://urn.fi/URN:ISBN:978-951-39-9928-5" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">here</a>.</span></p>
