Lecture 3 Interacting factors of service university development

This lecture begins with the discussion of the development and change of universities. We learn that this change is very different in different countries. During the lecture, professor Tjeldvoll also talks about the different functions of the university, research, teaching and administration and about their interconnectiveness. He also emphasize the importance of the strategic work in any organization, and uses the universities as examples how their change can bee seen in the changing mission statements of them.

At the end of the class professor Tjeldvoll also highlights the role of both radical students and radical professors in the change of universities.
