Joulun ajan juhlallisuudet aloitetaan Ruotsissa marraskuun puolivälissä. Joulunaika päättyy Nuutinpäivään, Tjugondedag jul. Ruotsalainen joulu muistuttaa suomalaista pienin poikkeuksin.<br/>
Videon joulutervehdys tulee Skånesta, Lundin kaupungista. Haastatteluissa ruotsalaiset kertovat omista jouluperinteistään ja jouluherkuistaan. Lähes kaikissa ruotsalaiskodeissa kokoonnutaan aattoiltapäivänä katsomaan televisiosta Aku Ankan joulutervehdystä, Kalle Anka och hans vänner önskar God Jul. Ohjelmaa on lähetetty jouluaattona jo vuodesta 1960 ja se on edelleenkin vuoden katsotuin tv-ohjelma.</td>
