The present premises of Pohjanlampi school, a lower level comprehensive school, were completed in 1988. The main building comprises fourteen classrooms; an annexe with space for five classes was built in 1992 and the other time the school was expanded by six classes in summer 1996. At present the school has facilities for 22 classes; about 440 pupils and 32 teachers in all.

To reach our objektives, we
our curriculum every year constantly upgrade our teaching run development projects of various kinds continually improve the methods of evaluating the work of both pupils and staff.
To create an ideal environment for individuals, our greatest asset, we
put effort into making our work comunity as pleasant as possible constantly upgrade internal co-operation regularly assess what we do.
To broaden our horizons, we
great emphasis on familiarizing ourselves with ourenvironment focus on specific themes alternating each school year: international approach, environmental issues and communication.
