Finnish applicants who are on the 9th grade of the comprehensive school have to complete the joint-application form (yhteishakulomake) which is required for all the upper secondary schools. The school code is 1653 and the IB section code is 809. Submit filled form to the General Application Office. |

In addition fill in the application form for the IB section of Jyväskylän Lyseon lukio and sent it to: Jyväskylän Lyseon lukio, IB –linja, Yliopistonkatu 13, 40100 Jyväskylä by March 15, 2014.

The entrance examination will be held for all applicants. The entrance examination will take place on the 23rd of April 2014 at Jyväskylän Lyseo upper secondary school. The entrance test will consist of two sections: written tests in Finnish, English and Mathematics and an interview. The students will get a maximum of 10 points from the entrance examination and up to 10 points from the comprehensive school grade point average. The final selection of students into the IB programme is made by the school.
