November 7th we cooked Italian food with Maria Rita. There were 17 pupils and two teachers, Helena Lampinen and Anneli Hirvasvuopio. Anneli and Maria helped us to make pasta carbonara which was the main course, while Helena took lots of amusing pictures of us cooking. As a starter we ate cantaloupe melon with prociutto ham - it was actually quite good, though it might sound weird. Then we ate our self-made carbonara and as a dessert we had tiramisu with tea and coffee. While eating we listened to Italian opera music.
The whole event was fun, food was good and the company was excellent. As a memory we got our own recipes for all the dishes so we can make them home, too. So: Buon appetito everybody!
